Tea sacks are used in India as packaging material for the transportation of tea from the plantations to their customers. These large bags of strong and water-resistant non-woven polypropylene are usually regarded as waste and therefore thrown away after use. SuperWaste gives this material a second life. The tea sacks are collected, washed, cut and then sewn into new products. Each product has a unique print, depending on the tea plantation where the sacks originate from.
